Tennis
The Wood Valley Swim and Racquet Club offers four lighted hard surface tennis courts that are available for play year-round. A covered gazebo allows view of play on two courts while providing a place to socialize before, during, or after matches. The tennis courts are secured and require member key access. Bathroom facilities are available.
Courts 1 & 2 may be reserved. Courts 3 & 4 are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A sign-up board is located inside Court 2. Refer to WVS&RC Tennis Rules & Court Reservations Rules.
ADULT TENNIS:
Wood Valley boasts tennis players of all ages and skill levels. Play is arranged among individual members since the WVSRC does not directly organize competition. The WVSRC is proud to currently be the home courts for several USTA league teams for men and women, as well as a Triangle League women’s team.
YOUTH TENNIS:
WVSRC offers many organized activities for young players. Please visit the YOUTH SPORTS area of this website.
The home page contains a link to the North Carolina Tennis Association site for information on North Carolina tennis programs including opportunities for local league play. Also provided are links to the USTA (United States Tennis Association) and the USPTR (United States Professional Tennis Registry) organizations.
