Youth Sports Registration
Youth Sports Registration is open throughout the month of May. Swim, Dive and Tennis teams are now forming. If you have any questions or need to talk to any one of the Team reps please email email@example.com with your inquiries.
2016 Youth Sports forms are now available:
For your convenience, we have revised the registration and health forms and combined them into one form. Parents should complete one registration/health form per athlete and one payment form per family.
The forms are designed to be completed on your computer, then you can print, sign and turn them in. Completing the electronic form is quick and easy, and it helps make sure our coaches and team reps have complete and legible information.
Summer Tennis Teams
The first practices for youth tennis will be on Tuesday May 24th! You can click here for the entire youth practice schedule.
Based on feedback the City of Raleigh has adjusted the days and times of match play. We will have 3 team levels of play this summer in addition to copper/BB: 14U Bronze, 14U Silver, and 18U Gold. If necessary, we will hold player assessments for new players or for returning players who want to move to the next level.
All players who will play league matches will need to be members of the USTA ($20 fee for 1-year membership), and will also be responsible for a $20 team fee payable to the USTA. Once players have registered for the tennis program at Wood Valley, information on how to sign up for the USTA and pay the team fee will be sent via email. Please have your registration in by May 18th.
Match times still need to be determined, last summers days and times are below:
Bronze Wednesdays 9:30 am Silver Thursdays 9:30 am Gold Fridays at 9:30 am
We will offer practices M-F and there will not be youth tennis activities on Saturdays or Sundays.
Please direct any youth tennis questions to Lisa England at firstname.lastname@example.org
Looking forward to a great season!
